Pediatric Rehabilitation and Therapy

Pediatric Speech Therapy

At John Randolph Medical Center we offer speech therapy to help children reach developmental milestones. Children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders, have genetic syndromes (Down’s Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Turner Syndrome, etc.), have trouble with feeding or swallowing, show signs of stuttering, have neurological disorders, or phonologic disorders may benefit from speech therapy.

Our outpatient pediatric speech therapy program incorporates:

  • Cognitive skills
  • Feeding and swallowing with modified barium swallow testing
  • Fluency and voice testing
  • Oral-motor function
  • Pragmatic language and social skills

Pediatric Physical Therapy

At John Randolph Medical Center we offer physical therapy to help children develop and/or regain motor skills following an injury or in the process of overcoming pain. Children who have developmental delays or a birth defect affecting motor skills also can benefit greatly from physical therapy.

Our outpatient pediatric physical therapy program incorporates:

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

At John Randolph Medical Center we offer pediatric occupational therapy to help kids achieve their highest level of independence. Our occupational therapy practitioners work with children and young adults, from infancy through college, and their families to facilitate participation in and development of life skills for the future.

Our outpatient pediatric occupational therapy program incorporates:

  • Self-care instruction on bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
