Richmond, Va. (Aug. 28, 2015) – John Randolph Medical Center, recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its newly-renovated medical/surgical 3 South units.

Hospital officials combined staff and patient feedback to create a fresh, new look with first-class upgrades such as a calm and inviting color scheme; nursing stations redesigned by staff for more efficient workflows; custom tile showers with a slip resistant and low profile basin to reduce risk falls; non-wax flooring in patient rooms for reduced downtime during floor maintenance; easy clean surfaces and microchipped privacy curtains that track cleaning schedules for increased infection control; and a point-of-use supply room.

Hospital administration, staff members and community guests attended the ceremony.
